Burkhardt Wallenstein holds an advanced degree in mechanical engineering (Dipl.-Ing.) and a masters degree in philosophy (M.A.) from RWTH Aachen. During his career he has worked in several industry positions as well as in strategy consulting.

Important milestones of his professional life include Volkswagen AG (2003 - 2004), where he founded and led the Office for Corporate Culture, created to implement the CEO's leadership culture in all countries and corporate affiliates. At Unilever (1994 - 1997) he was responsible for driving change in production processes as manager of 150 employees and introduced Toyota's Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) system.

Burkhardt Wallenstein spent five years with The Boston Consulting Group (1997 - 2003) as a Consultant and a Project Leader, serving DAX 30 companies and international medium-sized businesses in the automotive, consumer goods, media and telecommunications industries.

This experience enables Burkhardt Wallenstein to support his clients' strategy processes consistently from development through to implementation.
